Solution Owner
what you’ll do.
Be the functional and subject matter authority for the data and analytics solution being developed
Define and work within an agile project management framework (e.g. setting up team cadence, facilitating scrum events, managing dependencies, issues, and risks)
Act as the liaison between product, technology, business, and governance teams
Partner with the Product Owner to define the product by identifying requirements, and take ownership of the structure and content of the product backlog
Write user stories that effectively communicate the requirements of stakeholders
Effectively handle and minimize team risks and dependencies by coordinating with relevant teams and business units
Drive delivery across various domains, such as defining and validating technical approaches and deliverables with the development team; lead the execution of test plans and verification of sprint feature releases; facilitate user acceptance testing and business validation of major releases
Lead, facilitate, and attend meetings; provide project status reporting to management; prepare and conduct client presentations and workshops
Guide and mentor fellow team members in their efforts to develop solution owner skillsets
what you’ll bring.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or relevant field. A computer science-based mindset is needed; a technology-based education is helpful
5+ years of experience in agile software development and delivery, including the ability to set up and execute Scrum-based projects
2+ years of hands-on experience leading agile data and analytics projects
Experience in all phases of product development, software development, and testing lifecycles
Demonstrated knowledge in multiple agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or Lean
Deep expertise in business requirements gathering and documentation, and ability to translate business requirements into clear specifications, including use cases and user stories
Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate between different teams, clients, stakeholders, and governance structures
Ability to actively identify risks and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues
Project Management Professional certification or Scrum/Agile certification
Non-negotiable: strong communication skills in Dutch and English
