Analytics Consultant
what you’ll do.
Collaborate within a team and work closely with clients to develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations designed with careful consideration for the target audience
Engage with both business and technology stakeholders to analyze user requirements
Design and develop analytics deliverables using a variety of techniques, including data profiling, data analysis, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, data visualization, and data storytelling
Deliver analytics solutions leveraging modern data wrangling, analysis, and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Looker, Microsoft Power BI, Python, Qlik, R, SAP Analytics Cloud, Spotfire and/or Tableau
Build required data extracts or models to support the analytics solutions produced
Assist with analytics testing activities
Produce functional and technical documentation to assist both business and IT users
Stay current on the latest advancements in analytics, business intelligence, data science, and data visualization
what you’ll bring.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, applied mathematics, statistics or other relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience
3+ years experience in business intelligence, information management or related discipline, preferably within a consulting environment
Demonstrated expertise in data wrangling, analysis and visualization
1+ years of hands-on experience with at least one data analysis and visualization tool such as Microsoft Power BI, Qlik, Tableau etc. Certification is a plus
Have a good understanding of relational and dimensional database structures
Experience working with SQL
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
Working knowledge of agile development including DevOps concepts
Strong analytical problem-solving ability
Non-negotiable: strong communication skills in Dutch and English
